The fashion statement for SS18 is finally here! Take a peek at it and get inspired by this summer coolest trends!

The fashion months are over – we have done our SS18 fashion
trends studies, and now, we can proudly announce that it’s time
for some summer-wardrobe plotting. Let’s face it, it’s never too
early to start that dream wish-list!
So, what did we learn from the exciting New York, London, Milan
and Paris Fashion Weeks?
Designers got inspired by Pantone pulsating primary colours
(emerald green, cobalt blue, tomato red, bright yellow!) and
chose ‘to fill’ this summer (and our wardrobe) with joyful and
uplifting clothes that took us off into another world. Don’t worry
if at first glance you feel a bit scared of all those fancy trends
– head-to-toe flowery patterns and fringing galore is not for
everyone! As much as it is true that this season’s main trends
are quite maximalist and OTT, there is no reason to panic. In fact,
for the minimalist lovers, in addition to the many flowery prints,
fringes, feathers, bright colour combinations, happy-hippie
outfits etc., there are also some pastel colours, delicate sugar
hues, and classic check prints to choose from.
But let’s go and discover all the latest summer trends more in detail!

FLORAL ALL OVER

Micro florals, ’60s florals, soft florals: there is plenty of choice                                        for all tastes! Soft florals are definitely for the more classic ones
as patterns are printed on floaty materials to emphasize the
romantic and airy appeal of their softness. The ‘60s has very
distinct fashion notes that don’t always carry through to other
genres without losing their ‘60s signature. Micro florals are the
petit and sweet prints designed for a more feminine and fresh
summer wear, and can be usually found on sheer and semi sheer
clothing.
PUFF SLEEVES
Last summer was ruled by the omnipresent off-the-shoulder
top, but this season has a new fashion contender: the puff
sleeve. The perfect hybrid of the Victorian era meets the era
of Dynasty, the puff sleeve is both flattering and playful—not
to mention it makes the perfect pairing for all your blue jeans
combinations.
CHECK PRINTS
Carried over from the cooler months, checks re-emerged as an
amazing fashion trend for SS18. This pattern can be worn and
incorporated into nearly any preferred style as the main eye catching
feature or supporting other interesting pieces.
PASTEL COLOURS
Pastel colors are ladylike and sweet-looking hues that can be
incorporated with almost any combination. No matter if you are
an edgy girl or an elegant woman, soft pastel shades are easy to
mix and match and there are many ways to make those ethereal
hues work for you!
POLKA DOT DRESS
Polka dot patterns have a long and noted history in fashion.
This season we’ll see them making resurgence in soft pastels
shades or in bold black and white monochrome.
SPARKLY STYLE WITH SEQUINS
If you think that glitters are only for the Christmas season, you
got it wrong! In fact, sequined clothes are definitely a must-have
this summer! Short dresses, sequins gowns, jackets, turbans,
and even crystal-embellished tights: the key for SS18 is to get
ready to sparkle!

FASHIONISTA CALL: SUMMER TRENDS 2018
ASYMMETRICAL SWIMSUITS
On the beach you can’t miss out the latest two trends when it
comes to swimming costumes: the one shoulder swimsuit and
the high cut, high-waisted bikini bottom. The latter, makes a
comeback to retro silhouettes: vintage inspirations flatter the
feminine body figure and are updated with pared back detailing.                                        Subtle ruching and textured fabrics give a nod to retro roots
while minimal brush-stroke prints have a cleaner and more
contemporary look.
BUM BAGS MANIA
For Spring-Summer 2018 some designers seem to have
brought back to life the fanny pack, a trend which has already
started dividing fashionistas into for and against. Are you not
sold on this accessory, yet? To pick the trend you should mainly
focus on the following aspects: it will keep your hands free
at all times, it is super versatile and if bought in leather or
suede, won’t look like a sporty piece!
CLOGS: UGLY-CHIC SHOE OBSESSION
Love them or hate them, clogs are back in fashion this SS18!
Not Birkenstock or Crocs: there is a brand new ugly-chic
shoe to get the high-fashion treatment this season! Travel
back in time to the ’70s this summer and opt for a pair of
shiny patent leather clogs to give all your floral dresses a
bohemian vibe.
