Most of us can all agree that everything Rihanna touches turns to gold. Last month, her highly anticipated Fenty Beauty collection was launched in Sephora and Harvey Nichols and since then, the line continuously keeps receiving positive reviews.

Why Fenty Beauty?

Rihanna became obsessed with make up as she watched her mum apply it while she was growing up. The inspiration for Fenty Beauty came after Rihanna spent years using some of the best products in the industry, yet still felt that people were limited due to the fact that some brands didn’t cater for all skin types and tones. Eventually, she then made it her mission to create something for everyone.

”Fenty Beauty was created for everyone: For women of all shades, personalities, attitudes, cultures, and races. I wanted everyone to feel included. That’s the real reason why I made this line”.

Beauty is personal – there are so many different ways in which one can create different looks; this is why Rihanna chose to name her collection Fenty Beauty because this is the way she perceives beauty. It is coming from her perspective and she chose to name it after something personal –  her name.
