The Marketing Campaign for the Chamilia Malta Fashion Awards and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Malta has now been launched. The face of this year’s campaign is model, Claire Ciantar, wearing a look designed by local designer, Rosemarie Abela.
Executive producer and founder, Adrian J. Mizzi, made an important announcement – this year marks the 20th anniversary of the Malta Fashion Awards, which means it will be the biggest show yet and promises to deliver a fantastic night. The venue chosen is the newly renovated Pjazza Tritoni. All Fashion Week Malta events are once again to be held at Fort St Elmo. This year, more than ever, Valletta, our European Capital City of Culture, is the perfect location for these prestigious cultural events that aim to promote and nurture the local fashion industry.
The dates of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Malta are 26th May – 1st June. The Chamilia Malta Fashion Awards, which will this year also be harking back to the past and triggering a few distant memories, will be held on 2nd June.
Another important announcement made at the launch event was the unveiling of the newly designed website: maltafashionweek.com, which is now a one-stop shop fashion portal where one may find information pertaining to local participating designers and information about all events including maps and directions to the events.
Tickets for the Chamilia Malta Fashion Awards and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Malta will go on sale at the end of April and can be obtained from the website. Release of different tickets will be staggered up until the first week of May.
